The new “pocket park” in Ano Patisia

A new addition to the group of scattered around the city “pocket – parks”, was developed by Athens Anaplasis S.A. on a vacant and abandoned city lot, in the dense urban area of Ano Patisia. In the context of realizing the Municipality’s new “pocket parks scheme”, the Company donated the design study conducted on sustainable and environmentally competent practices. By actualizing original and innovative functional design, it created an ecological refuge from the bustle of surrounding urban life that offers opportunities for rest and relaxation. Functions can include small event space, play area for children,space for relaxing or meeting friends, taking lunch breaks etc.
